The elderly woman, who was out riding her bicycle, became the unfortunate victim of the unleashed pit bull. The strong and aggressive canine managed to knock her off her bike and attacked her, causing severe physical trauma. Despite attempts to intervene, the severity of her injuries resulted in her tragic demise on the way to the hospital.

“The pit bull involved in the incident has been identified. Animal Control is expected to take the dog into custody,” confirmed Cpt. Stephen Starling of Florence Police Department. As of now, details of the dog’s owner remain undisclosed.
