Originally known as the Florence Civic Center, it underwent a rebranding in 2017. Since its 1993 opening, the $22 million arena, owned by the City of Florence and operated by SMG, has played host to a diverse range of events. Notably, it hosted the iconic eighth WWF In Your House pay-per-view in 1996 and continues to be the annual venue for the cherished Darlington Car Hauler Parade. Furthermore, the arena serves as the home court for both the Pee Dee/Florence Pride hockey team and the Carolina Havoc indoor football team, solidifying its position as a central hub for local sports enthusiasts. It has also been home to the Florence Symphony Orchestra and numerous concerts. In 2019, the arena was the home of the Carolina Havoc, an indoor football team.
