Dillon Welcomes Man 2 Man Fatherhood Initiative Facility
Located in the heart of Dillon, South Carolina, a brand-new facility dedicated to improving the lives of fathers has officially opened its doors. The Man 2 Man Fatherhood Initiative, a program that has been positively impacting the Pee Dee area for more than 25 years, is changing the game for fathers and their families in the community.

The Man 2 Man initiative is all about helping fathers step into their roles more effectively and raising awareness about the importance of fatherhood. This exciting new facility on East Roosevelt Street is here to extend these vital services to the Dillon County community. Deon Campbell, the Director of Operations for this program, expressed just how thrilled everyone is about this expansion. “We’re incredibly excited to be able to expand our services to Dillon County and truly make a difference in the lives of fathers and families here,” said Campbell.
A Network of Support
But what exactly does the Man 2 Man Fatherhood Initiative do? Well, it serves not just Dillon County, but also Chesterfield, Darlington, Florence, and Marlboro counties as part of a bigger network of fatherhood organizations operating under the guidance of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, which is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System. This statewide network is dedicated to enhancing the parenting skills and knowledge of fathers, which helps lay a strong foundation for healthy families.
Training for a Brighter Future
In 2019, the impact of this initiative was significant. A total of 684 participants completed job readiness training through the program across South Carolina. Out of these participants, a remarkable 70% gained employment upon completion of the training. This success rate not only speaks volumes about the effectiveness of the program but also highlights the significance of providing fathers with the tools they need to secure stable employment and contribute positively to their families.
