The Okra Day at the Market is taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pee Dee State Farmers Market in Florence providing fresh okra and other local produce to visitors. Arts and Crafts

Arts and crafts enthusiasts will find themselves entertained at various creative events. A Watercolor Class for Kids is scheduled at the Black Creek Arts Council, pairing fun and learning for children. Interested individuals can gain additional information by calling the Council or by visiting their official website.

Additionally, Florence County Museum is hosting an Edward Gay-An American Landscape Painter exhibition, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can also participate in Family Day-Page Turning Patterns, a family event aimed at promoting learning fun.

Other Events

Among other activities, the Wings Over Hartsville event is taking place at Hartsville Regional Airport from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can experience various aerial activities and aircraft display.

Maintaining the artistic theme, Tarleton Blackwell’s Greatest Show can be visited at TRAX Visual Arts Center in Lake City from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To further promote art and creativity, Jones Carter Gallery is hosting a workshop Bridges to Personhood by Harry Hansen & Olga Yukino.

A Bright Evening

To close the eventful day, Screen in the Green event will be held at Burry Park, Hartsville from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. where residents can enjoy an outdoor movie screening under the stars.
