The highlight of the evening will happen at 6:15 p.m. with a touching patriotic tribute coordinated by Wayne Jackson. The event will kick off with a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem sung by Nick Townsend, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Rivers Crouse. This year, the keynote speaker is the Honorable James E. Lockmey, who serves on the South Carolina Court of Appeals. He will share a stirring patriotic message that will resonate with everyone in attendance. Additionally, members of the Florence Veterans Honor Guard will perform an American Flag Folding Ceremony, a touching moment of respect for our nation’s flag and all it symbolizes.
