Residents of Florence now have a new shopping spot as Dollar Tree opens its new location in the city. The new store, located on South Irby Street, is the latest addition to the city’s growing list of businesses. It is set in the building that was previously occupied by Rite Aid and underwent extensive renovations before Dollar Tree moved in.
The new location is the fourth Dollar Tree store in Florence, joining the other three that are already operating successfully in the city. As with all Dollar Tree stores, customers will find a wide variety of goods priced mainly at $1.25. From essential items like bathroom supplies and food to exciting extras such as seasonal decorations and craft supplies, shoppers can anticipate a different assortment of options every week, with some items even ranging from $3 to $5.
The new Dollar Tree store’s opening is the latest in a series of new business openings across Florence this year. Recent in the list includes Downcountry Grill, a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch on weekdays, recently opened on North Irby Street. On the other hand, a new Food Lion store opened its doors to shoppers at Florence Mall in early August and is just under a half-mile away from Ben’s, a bargain outlet store that opened in July.
The commercial development in Florence does not stop with the opening of the new Dollar Tree store. In the coming months, new businesses are expected to join the city’s roster. Among these include Jack’s Books, touted to be the city’s only independent bookstore, and a unique Bojangles outlet, with both expected to open in downtown Florence in the Fall.
Florence’s newest Dollar Tree is located on the corner of Irby and Pine Streets, with the address 204 W. Pine Street. It will be open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM from Monday through Saturday and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Sunday.
