In an effort to reduce shelter overcrowding and ensure that every animal finds a loving home, the Animal Shelter of Florence County has announced a special event. From July 29 through August 16, the shelter will be offering same-day adoptions with all adoption fees waived.

The adoption special will be held at the Animal Shelter of Florence County, located at 1487 Humane Lane, Effingham. To visit, simply cross the road from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and detention center. Adoption proceedings will take place from July 29 till August 16.
