Francis Marion in Florence Experiences Robust Growth and Undergoes Significant Renovations

Upcoming Programs and Continued Expansion

With the 2024-2025 academic year, Francis Marion University plans to launch a Bachelor of Science in Education, focusing on Multi-categorical Special Education: Autism Studies, Pre-K through 12. This program, the first of its type in South Carolina and one of only two in the southeastern United States, will emphasize meeting the needs of autistic individuals and students with other neurodevelopmental disorders.
