FLORENCE, S.C. — In a vibrant gathering that marked the start of a new journey, the 18th Class of McLeod Foundation Fellows assembled in September for their first meeting at the McLeod Regional Medical Center. It’s an exciting time as local leaders come together to delve deeply into the world of healthcare, all while recognizing the ever-present importance of philanthropy in this vital sector.

Connecting Community Leaders with Healthcare Expertise

The McLeod Foundation’s fellowship program has been a significant part of the community since its inception in 2006. Designed to enlighten community leaders about the nuances of the healthcare industry, this annual program invites participants to engage in eight monthly sessions that explore the mission of McLeod Health and the various facets of healthcare that impact every resident in the region.

At the kickoff meeting, participants were warmly welcomed by Donna Isgett, President and CEO of McLeod Health, who shared fascinating insights into the history and growth of the McLeod Health organization.
