Exciting New Addition to Florence: Meow Tea Opens This Weekend

Exciting New Addition to Florence: Meow Tea Opens This Weekend!

Florence, get ready for some delightful sips and sweet treats! Meow Tea, a beloved local food truck that serves up a delicious array of bubble teas and refreshing juice creations, is making a leap into the world of brick-and-mortar dining. The grand opening is set for November 16, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

From Food Truck to Fun Hangout

For those who may not have sampled their offerings before, Meow Tea has spent some time building a strong fan base at Eats on the Creek, where their food truck wowed customers with its vibrant flair and amazing flavors. The new location, situated in the former Sweet Frog spot right in front of MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, promises to take that excitement up a notch.

Now, let’s talk about what you can expect when you swing by. Meow Tea is not only retaining its trademark bubble tea menu but also expanding into a much more comprehensive selection of beverages and some mouthwatering sweets. They’ll start welcoming morning patrons bright and early at 7 a.m., serving up coffee, lattes, and hot teas to help you wake up and tackle the day. Then, at 10 a.m., the main attraction makes its debut—the bubble tea menu!

A Menu to Make Your Taste Buds Sing

If you’re a fan of unique drinks, you’re going to love what Meow Tea has in store. Imagine indulging in a cup of matcha milk tea or sipping on hot kumquat honey tea on a cool day. Or, for something more adventurous, why not try their ube coffee? Alongside these enticing beverages, the restaurant will offer a variety of fun additions like lychee popping pearls, mango jelly, sweet cream, and milk pudding. The combinations are endless, and the flavors are sure to keep you coming back for more!

But wait, there’s more! It wouldn’t be a sweet spot without desserts, right? Treat yourself to their playful cat paw waffles or perhaps a creamy slice of tiramisu while you sip your tea. These delightful items will not only satisfy your cravings but also add a bit of fun to your mealtime experience.

A Flourishing Dining Scene

Meow Tea isn’t just sprouting up in isolation; it’s joining an exciting wave of new restaurants in Florence. Just recently, Wingstop opened near West Florence High School, and it seems like Pamplico Highway is becoming a new dining hotspot. In 2024 alone, Meow Tea will join the ranks of other new establishments like Slim Chickens, Dunkin’, and El Dos Agaves Mexican Grill.

If you’re planning to visit, you can find Meow Tea at 960 Pamplico Highway, right next to 1st Heritage Credit. The restaurant will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., making it easy for you to pop in for a refreshing drink or a quick sweet treat.

Mark Your Calendars!

As the countdown to the opening day begins, be sure to mark your calendars for November 16. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Meow Tea or curious to try it for the first time, this is an opening you won’t want to miss. Get ready, Florence—your new go-to spot for bubble tea is about to make its grand debut!
