Mauldin, South Carolina, is buzzing with excitement after the grand opening of a brand-new Truliant Federal Credit Union branch! On January 22, 2025, residents welcomed this vibrant financial hub located at 513 N. Main St. The new branch covers an impressive 3,040 square feet and is set to become a go-to spot for all your banking needs.
The Mauldin branch marks Truliant’s fifth footprint in northern South Carolina. With a focus on reaching more locals, Truliant is doing its bit to foster financial wellness in the community. Upstate South Carolina is rapidly becoming a vital area for the credit union, which also has a presence in the bustling Greenville and Spartanburg metro areas. In fact, this region boasts the fourth largest concentration of Truliant branches, right after the Piedmont Triad, Charlotte, and southwest Virginia.
Truliant operates about 35 branches overall and isn’t stopping here! More branches are set to open later this year, with plans for a location in Boiling Springs ready to debut next month. This move is part of Truliant’s strategic expansion initiatives along that busy Interstate 85 corridor where so many people visit and live.
Founded way back in 1952 for Western Electric employees in Winston-Salem, Truliant Federal Credit Union has come a long way! Now, with over 340,000 members and a robust $5.2 billion in assets, it proudly stands as the largest financial institution headquartered in the Triad and is among North Carolina’s largest credit unions. Isn’t it impressive how community-focused institutions can grow and evolve over time like this?
In South Carolina, the credit union has been around for approximately 30 years, making its mark with existing branches in Easley, Greer, and two locations in Greenville. The Mauldin community can look forward to the same commitment and service that has built Truliant’s reputation.
If you’re planning to visit the new Mauldin branch, you can count on friendly service between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and a bit later on Fridays with hours extending to 6 p.m. This makes it easier for locals to swing by and take care of their finances after work or during lunch breaks.
As Truliant settles into its new Mauldin home, there’s a sense of eagerness in the air to see how this fresh branch will cater to local members. With a focus on community engagement and financial well-being, the credit union is geared up to become a crucial player in the local banking landscape.
The phase of expanding into more regions is not just about numbers for Truliant; it’s about building relationships with individuals and families in the beautiful Upstate South Carolina area! So whether you’re new to the area or a longstanding local resident, the new Mauldin branch of Truliant Federal Credit Union welcomes you with open arms!
The future’s bright in Mauldin, and it seems Truliant is going places. Here’s to more branches and better banking experiences for everyone!
